Migration to CEN Documents

Why change?

Project goal

The new CEN Documents platform was chosen to replace Livelink (eCommittees) ensuring integrity and traceability of documents.

It's seen as an opportunity to provide the standard development community with a more modern environment better fitting their current needs.

  • Users can now navigate in a harmonized environment for CEN and ISO committees.
  • There is a unique book of records for all these committees, hosted in a common environment.
  • A more modern user interface and an improved Search system make it easier to find, to access and to upload documents.
  • The new Platform also has some great new features :
      - 'bulk upload'
      - Improved link to other applications
      - Powerful PDF rendition and conversion tool

Onboarding and status

From March to May 2021, we have successfully onboarded all technical committee documents to the new CEN Documents platform, representing over 850’000 documents, close to 40’000 users and over 2000 committees.
