Training for newly appointed Technical Body Officers & CEN-CENELEC Technical Body Seminar - agendas out now!
We are happy to announce that the full agenda of the online training for newly appointed Technical Body Officers and the CEN-CENELEC Technical Body Seminar have been published.
On Tuesday 7 December 2021, the two-day event will kick of with the training sessions for newly appointed CEN Technical Body officers. This interactive training session is addressed to CEN Technical Body Officers that have entered their function as Chairperson or Secretary since December of the previous year.
Its aim is to help the new Technical Body Officers get acquainted with various concepts and tools directly related to the standardization community. It is also an excellent occasion to exchange views and receive feedback on their first experience and expectations.
On the agenda:
- 09:30 - 12:00: Understanding the CEN standardization process (register)
- 13:30 - 14:30: IT Tools in the CEN environment (register)
- 14:30 - 15:30: Common session on IT Tools in the CEN & CENELEC environment (register)
As of 17:00 we start with the CEN-CENELEC Technical Body Awards Ceremony. This celebration, aiming at paying tribute to a selection of Technical Body Officers, will happen online this year. Please book your seat to follow live.
On Wednesday 8 December 2021, there is the CEN-CENELEC Technical Body Seminar happening online (register).
The Technical Body Seminar provides Technical Body Officers with an overview of the major novelties in CEN and CENELEC rules and procedures over the last two years, including future trends and challenges. It also offers a platform where Technical Body Officers share information and exchange ideas on subjects directly related to standardization.
