CEN and CENELEC Technical Boards (BTs) recently agreed to a new process to delegate to JTCs the approval of New Work Items (NWIs), hence skipping final BTs approval.
All NWIs ballots will be launched for an 8-week JTC approval using the same tool of the secretariat lead (CIB for JTCs under a CEN Member secretariat or eVoting for JTCs under a CLC Member secretariat). The BTs decision also foresees the possibility for JTCs to change the lead on a NWI (at the launch of the WI or during its development).
This webinar will provide participants with a detailed insight into the new process, focusing on the use of the IT tools that will allow Technical Body Officers to implement the new processes starting from 2025-02-01.
